World High Diving Championship Mexico 2008Hi GuysFor those that donīt know, I am in Mexico as a RLSS (Royal Life Saving Society) Lifeguard, assisting in the World High Diving Championships 2008. My role is to assist in any incident that may take place. The divers hit the water at great speed (60mph). All entries have to be feet first due to the impact. If the entry goes wrong, then there could be serious injuries. I will be stationed on a Mexican Marine craft throughtout the event, close to the diving area. Yesterday was practive day in very choppy conditions... letīs say I was glad to get off the boat! Hopefully today for the competition it will be calmer. If Iīm correct, the following site will be streaming the World High Diving Championship Main Event at 9pm UK time log on at 9pm to the site below.
